Our baby sculptures are produced using the lost wax method of casting where in each piece begins as a wax figure that gets coated in a material that hardens into a ceramic shell into which the liquid metal is poured. When the metal cools the ceramic shell is broken away to release the sculpture. The ratio of wax models to finished pieces is 1:1, imparting heirloom status to these deeply meaningful birth gifts.
